Inside Information
NOTE: All shows, events and deadlines are subject to postponement or cancellation due to temporary casino closings and/or safety and health measures implemented by the state.
■ If you opt out of housekeeping services during your stay (minimum two-night stay), The LINQ will give you a $10 per stay food and beverage credit. You still can request additional towels or other amenities, but your bathroom will not be cleaned, bed made, etc. If you didn’t get a pre-arrival email asking you to opt-in, just let the front desk know when you check-in.
■ Don't forget to try the free slot pull for $1 million. The promotion runs from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday next to Wine & Spirits just across from the Catalyst Bar.
■ Even if you're not staying at another Caesars casino in Las Vegas, show your Seven Stars card for complimentary admission to The Pool.
Formerly the Imperial Palace, then The Quad, then The LINQ Hotel & Casino, The LINQ Hotel + Experience has been totally remodeled. There is a special VIP check-in, right. Self-parking in an adjacent garage is complimentary, but you also can take advantage of the complimentary valet parking.
The newly remodeled rooms have flat-screen televisions, refrigerators, USB charging stations and a bright contemporary feel – nothing like their former "Motel 6" furniture and design when the casino was the Imperial Palace.
Don't look for a clock in your room. If you need the time, you'll have to turn on the television, or check your watch or "smart" device. Also, there are no rooms with bathtubs and the showers all have those rain shower heads which are not adjustable.
Some who have stayed there, while they liked the room decor, the restaurants, the bars, the casino and the pool, claim the noise level from the pool is still noticeable even from the highest floors, so you might want to consider a room not overlooking the pool. The Pool
The Pool is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is limited to those 21 years and older, and is free for hotel guests and anyone who is a Seven Stars cardholder. Guests at other Caesars hotels in Las Vegas can use the pool for $10 per person. All others will pay $20.
The Pool has a misting system around the entire deck to keep everyone cool. The views from the deck include the High Roller and the LINQ promenade.
The main pool features first-come, first-serve open seating and a wet deck where you can rent one of four lily pad daybeds. The second pool can be accessed by a standalone elevated deck with tables available for rent. Highlights of the center bar include four flat-screen TVs, 30 seats and a diverse selection of frozen drinks, draught beer and signature cocktails. Food from Nook Express is available through food runners.
The pool also is the scene for a number of "after hours" activities such as theme parties, DJ competitions, etc.
Casino overviewThe large casino has been totally redesigned with a contemporary theme, and features all the typical slots and table games one would expect. Complimentary drink service in the casino is relatively frequent; and dealers, slot attendants and servers all are extremely friendly and helpful.
The LINQ also offers Scientific Games Elite Bonusing Suite™ games. These games allow The LINQ to give players another way to win and rewards them right at their slot machine. The LINQ will run several bonus games. scheduled at various times. The bonus games launch at the slot machines on the iVIEW card reader display, and may even appear on the slot machine screen. However, the bonus games are not connected to the slot machine game being played and do not affect game credits. The LINQ currently awards Caesars Reward Credits as prizes. All you have to do, once qualified, is play. If you win, immediately after the game, your Reward Credits automatically will be deposited into your Caesars Rewards account. Prize amounts vary. Typically, winners receive anywhere from 100 to a few thousand Reward Credits. However, since launching in October, The LINQ has had two players win 500,000 Reward Credits – 5,000 comp dollars. For an up-to-date schedule of games, visit the Caesars Reward Center.
The Book
Place bets. Order food and beverages. Play games. Repeat.
That’s the concept at The LINQ's 6,000-sq. ft. William Hill Sportsbook open daily from 9 a.m. to midnight.
Immediately signaling there’s something different here, the sportsbook provides customers with a tablet they can use to order food and drinks from any LINQ restaurant, play augmented-reality games, and bet live sports via the Caesars mobile app. They also can take part in interactive promotions to win prizes such as team jerseys.
3535 Las Vegas Cocktail Bar is open from noon to 4 a.m. in the gaming area, and 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. in the bar and lounge area.
■ The LINQ offers complimentary in-room fitness carts that include yoga mats, stability balls, fitness discs, and foam rollers. Call or visit the Spa to make a reservation for delivery.
■ Note that Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar adds a 4.85 percent "Concession and Franchise Fee" to your bill. Some customers claim that the CNF was waived when they complained and asked that it be removed from their bills. And, according to the Caesars website, Chayo accepts Reward Credits, but at 2:1.
The sportsbook features more than 50 televisions (including the Strip’s highest resolution LED video wall), a full bar, slot machines and self-serve beer taps.
There also are exclusive Fan Caves. The caves cost about $500 to rent, including food and beverage minimums. Billed as rentable living rooms, the 12 Fan Caves offer sofa seating with a 98-inch television (that can be split into four screens) and two 49-inch TVs. The caves also include Xbox game consoles. To rent a cave, call (702) 370-7736.
Although there is a full bar with countertop gaming, customers don’t have to wait for a bartender to fill their glasses. The sportsbook has a 24-tap, self-serve beer wall with a line-up of brews featuring best-sellers and seasonal choices.
Drink coasters and napkins are printed with QR codes that can be scanned with a phone or tablet to open augmented-reality games.
The LINQ Sandwich Co. has replaced the Sticky Chicken food truck. The LINQ Sandwich Co. features cheesesteaks, a meatball sub, and hot beef and fried chicken sandwiches.
■ Ivy™, a 24-hour virtual concierge service, is now available to guests at The LINQ, as well as Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, Harrah's, Nobu Hotel and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. After checking in, guests who have provided a cell phone number for their reservation receive a welcome message from Ivy encouraging them to text her with any questions or requests. Ivy can book dining reservations, show tickets and spa services, as well as facilitate housekeeping and maintenance requests. Ivy also surveys guests during their stay, which allows for quick recovery of unhappy guests in real time. Users may opt out of receiving messages from Ivy at any time. While Ivy is an automated artificial intelligence system, a human touch is incorporated when Ivy cannot provide a confident response. In addition to the hotel front desk agents, a specially trained universal agent team is available to provide around the clock coverage to address requests or inquiries. Guests can continue to text with Ivy once they return home for common requests such as to obtain a copy of their folio or locate a missing item.
■ Catch free live acts on select nights at O’Sheas; 3535 Las Vegas Cocktail Bar has DJs on the weekends.
■ Receive a two-hour LINQ Promenade self-parking validation when you dine at Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar.
O'Sheas CasinoFans of the former O'Sheas Casino that was on the site of what is now The LINQ open-air retail, dining and entertainment district, will find it replicated inside The LINQ's casino. You can enter from within the casino or, left, from an outside entrance at The LINQ.
Dining and entertainment
Dining options include Hash House a Go Go, Nook Express, Corner Kitchen & Donuts and Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar. Fieri's is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks, as well as Sunday brunch.
The Mat Franco Theater [formerly The LINQ Theater] featuresmagician Mat Franco. Check the Event Calendar for performance dates and other scheduled events and concerts.
Adjacent to The LINQ Hotel & Casino is The LINQ Promenade, a retail, dining and entertainment complex (see photo). Think of it as a pedestrian mall between The LINQ Hotel & Casino and the Flamingo. There you'll find everything from the Brooklyn Bowl to the High Roller observation wheel.
Special Seven Stars benefits
Had an excellent deep tissue massage here by Luca Andrisani.

A unique amenity at the spa is the Himalayan salt therapy cave. Natural salt caves have been used for centuries to help with congestion, asthma and other sinus conditions. This 45-minute session is complimentary for Seven Stars cardholders or to those who book a treatment ($50 or more). However, it must be booked in advance. Reservations can be made by calling (702) 794-3242 or emailing LinqSpa@Caesars.com. There also is a fitness center which is open 24 hours and is free to all guests. Use your room key for admittance.

Seven Stars Lounge
There is no Seven Stars or Laurel Lounge (former Diamond Lounge). The nearest Laurel Lounge is at the adjacent Harrah's.
With the Laurel Lounges temporarily closed, Diamond Plus through Seven Stars cardholders are being given an alternative daily beverage credit. In addition, Seven Stars cardholders will receive a daily $10 food credit. Seven Stars Companion cardholders are not eligible for the food credit, but, if applicable, would qualify for the beverage credit based on their own personal tier level. The beverage credit is limited to four drinks per day, with each drink valued at no more than $20. The credit is good only for the cardholder and can be redeemed directly at the participating outlet. The beverage credits may be redeemed all at one location, or split among the currently open casinos. For example, a cardholder could redeem two beverage credits at Caesars Palace, and one each at Flamingo and Harrah’s. For a list of participating outlets, visit the Caesars Rewards Desk or click here.
Should you choose this for your Annual Retreat?
Las Vegas remains the gaming mecca in the United States, and is probably the most popular destination for Seven Stars trips. With eight other Caesars properties in town (Bally's, Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, Flamingo, Harrah's, Rio, Planet Hollywood and Paris), dozens of restaurants, nightclubs, golf, showrooms, the Forum Shops at Caesars (and other shops located inside Caesars properties), spa treatments, and relaxing by the pool (weather permitting), it would be easy to spend four nights (and $500) here – especially since you can "cross charge" to your room meals and other eligible expenses, even if they take place at another Caesars property in Las Vegas.
When you check-in, be sure to verify that your $500 comp account has been set-up and ask what it includes – specifically which restaurant and bars (city-wide). At a minimum, meals and alcohol charged to the room (at participating outlets) counts toward your $500 in expenses, but not gratuities. Best advice is to keep all your receipts until you settle your final bill.
