OverviewPlanet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino is located right in the middle of it all. Miracle Mile Shopping Mall (attached to Planet Hollywood) is well represented with mid-priced stores in a very comfortable setting. Lobby, valet parking, registration, gift shop, and VIP check-in are all located on the lower level. The casino is located one flight up on the Strip level and most restaurants are located on the casino mezzanine level. Since there are two separate guestroom towers (South and North), you need to acclimate yourself on how to get back to your room.
Hotel guestrooms
Forget everything you might remember from a previous stay at Planet Hollywood. Those film memorabilia-themed rooms. Those sports memorabilia-themed rooms. Instead you’ll find contemporary rooms with edgy artwork and modern furnishings.
Inside Information
NOTE: All shows, events and deadlines are subject to postponement or cancellation due to temporary casino closings and/or safety and health measures implemented by the state.
■ Starbucks offers a VIP Express Line for Seven Stars, Diamond and Platinum cardholders.
■ Listen to live DJ music at Heart Bar starting at 8 p.m. Extra Lounge Las Vegas has live music on Thursday and Sunday, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Friday and Saturday, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Live music covers everything from neo-soul and Top 40 to timeless pop and rock hits.
■ Heart Bar has a half-off Happy Hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Beer, house wine and well cocktails are 2-for-1.

Resort fees have increased by $2 to $39 a day.
Panorama Suites are very impressive and offer great views of the mountains, Paris/Eiffel Tower, Bellagio fountains and City Center. Suites are large. although they have very limited closet space. A few less sports memorabilia displays and a few more closets would be greatly appreciated.
All rooms have mini-refrigerators, but only the suites have coffee-makers.
Dining options

While not technically part of Planet Hollywood, Chick-fil-A has opened in the space formerly occupied by Pink's Hot Dogs.
Planet Dailies has closed and Café Hollywood is now open.
EntertainmentThe Zappos Theater (formerly The AXIS) will host Judas Priest on Friday, Oct. 8.

Casino overview
The casino has all the table games, slots, video poker variations that other casinos have, but it can be a little confusing to acclimate yourself and find your way around. It can get a little loud in the casino, too, but the casino is well maintained. There’s a very comfortable "High Limit" slot area, as well a high limit table games room. Dealers at table games are courteous and very appreciative of tips. Drink service is frequent and professional.
Spa by Mandara
Spa by Mandara offers massages, facials, hair and nail treatments, tanning and more. The 32,000-sq. ft. facility features 40 treatment rooms including six couples rooms.
Special Seven Stars benefits
There are no property-specific benefits, but click here for a list of benefits which are available at all Las Vegas Caesars Rewards casinos.
Seven Stars Lounge
Planet Hollywood has no Seven Stars Lounge, and the Laurel Lounge (formerly the Diamond Lounge) is not easy to find. Take the escalator to the mezzanine level (where Strip House and the theater are located). Walk to the right through a large open area and stay to your right. Look for the entrance to the Gallery Nightclub. Instead of walking into the club, turn left. Guests used to the comparatively "lavish" buffets in Atlantic City will be extremely disappointed at the lounge fare in Las Vegas. Caesars apparently has put all its Laurel Lounges on a "Mediterranean Diet," but it's a nice selection of hummus, pita triangles, pretzels, potato chips, bruschetta, etc., as well as cookies and mini-desserts From 4:30 to 6 p.m. (or until it runs out), the lounge serves hot food, e.g., chicken wings, mini-burritos, etc. Online computers are available for guests to check email or print boarding passes.
■ Check out the FlowRider machine. You have your choice to surf or boogie board. Each 30-minute session is $25. The FlowRider is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with last reservations at 5:20 p.m. There’s no age limit, but you have to be at least 42 inches to boogie board or 48 inches to surf.
■ EXTRA Lounge has something for everyone by covering a wide range of music genres. You’ll hear everything from neo-soul and Top 40 to timeless pop and rock hits.
■ Ivy™, a 24-hour virtual concierge service, is now available to guests at Planet Hollywood, as well as Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, Harrah's, Nobu Hotel and The LINQ Hotel & Casino. After checking in, guests who have provided a cell phone number for their reservation receive a welcome message from Ivy encouraging them to text her with any questions or requests. Ivy can book dining reservations, show tickets and spa services, as well as facilitate housekeeping and maintenance requests. Ivy also surveys guests during their stay, which allows for quick recovery of unhappy guests in real time. Users may opt out of receiving messages from Ivy at any time. While Ivy is an automated artificial intelligence system, a human touch is incorporated when Ivy cannot provide a confident response. In addition to the hotel front desk agents, a specially trained universal agent team is available to provide around the clock coverage to address requests or inquiries. Guests can continue to text with Ivy once they return home for common requests such as to obtain a copy of their folio or locate a missing item.
■ If you opt out of housekeeping services during your stay (minimum two-night stay), Planet Hollywood will give you a $10 per stayfood and beverage credit. You still can request additional towels or other amenities, but your bathroom will not be cleaned, bed made, etc. If you didn’t get a pre-arrival email asking you to opt-in, just let the front desk know when you check-in.
With the Laurel Lounges temporarily closed, Diamond Plus through Seven Stars cardholders are being given an alternative daily beverage credit. In addition, Seven Stars cardholders will receive a daily $10 food credit. Seven Stars Companion cardholders are not eligible for the food credit, but, if applicable, would qualify for the beverage credit based on their own personal tier level. The beverage credit is limited to four drinks per day, with each drink valued at no more than $20. The credit is good only for the cardholder and can be redeemed directly at the participating outlet. The beverage credits may be redeemed all at one location, or split among the currently open casinos. For example, a cardholder could redeem two beverage credits at Caesars Palace, and one each at Flamingo and Harrah’s. For a list of participating outlets, visit the Caesars Rewards Desk or click here.
Should you choose this for your Annual Retreat?
Las Vegas remains the gaming mecca in the United States, and is probably the most popular destination for Seven Stars trips. With eight other Caesars properties in town (Bally's, Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, Flamingo, Harrah's, The LINQ, Rio and Paris), dozens of restaurants, nightclubs, golf, showrooms, the Forum Shops at Caesars (and other shops located inside Caesars properties), spa treatments, and relaxing by the pool (weather permitting), it would be easy to spend four nights (and $500) here – especially since you can "cross charge" to your room meals and other eligible expenses, even if they take place at another Caesars property in Las Vegas.
When you check-in, be sure to verify that your $500 comp account has been set-up and ask what it includes – specifically which restaurant and bars (city-wide). At a minimum, meals and alcohol charged to the room (at participating outlets) counts toward your $500 in expenses, but not gratuities. Best advice is to keep all your receipts until you settle your final bill.
